First introduced in 1925, Chrysler is no stranger to the ups and downs of the automotive industry, but this automaker is riding high with a small but solid lineup that will see some big changes in the near future. A merger with Fiat kept the entire Chrysler Group alive in 2009, and the eponymous brand has been a key benefactor.
For now, Chrysler offers just two sedans and one minivan including the stylish Chrysler 200, the iconic Chrysler 300 and the innovative Chrysler Town & Country. With its bold styling and luxurious interior, the Chrysler 300 has been a dominant car in the full-size market since it was introduced back in 2005, and the recent 2015 update is perhaps the best example of how well the Fiat-Chrysler merger is going. The Chrysler 200 is also an example of this as it has given Chrysler a solid entry-level offering in the popular mid-size sedan segment.
Chrysler (as a corporation) has owned the minivan market since putting this vehicle segment on the map in 1984, and the Chrysler Town & Country continues to be a top seller. This year, Chrysler will launch the next generation of the venerable Town & Country minivan, which will offer a class-exclusive plug-in hybrid option, and it will be joined in the lineup by an all-new hatchback, the Chrysler 100, which will ride on the same platform as the Jeep Renegade. In coming years, Chrysler will also be adding bigger crossovers into its product mix.
The current Chrysler lineup is priced starting at $21,995 for the Chrysler 200 up to $32,015 for the Chrysler 300. To stay up to date on the growing Chrysler lineup, check out TestDrive.com for all of the pricing, specs, information and test drive reviews.
